Hi All,
I belong to the American Legion Riders Chapter 132 Orange,CA. We are a 100% volunteer organization so 100% of funds raised go directly to helping Veterans in need and to struggling local community organizations.
We are sponsoring a Toys for Tots poker run. This will benefit children in need and also our Veterans in need. There will be prizes, lunch served and a great raffle. There will be a band with dancing and great comraderie.
I understand there is a perception of the American Legion Riders being a "good ole boy" Harley group. This not the case. There are a lot Harleys but I am the chapter VP and I ride a KLR 650. My also belongs to the chapter as Treasurer and she rides her 2008 Spyder number 59. So I would encourage all qualified veterans, auxillary and sons of veterans to join a local American Legion Rider group.
Come on down, have some fun and enjoy the day.
