Towing the Brp 622 trailer... first time... question..

I went through my modes for 3 minutes before realizing that when the trailer was plugged in it was automatically in tow mode! So I get going and noticed the gears change at different RPM's, just want to make sure this is correct in tow mode and I am not having any other issues. Any other tips etc.?

If your Spyder is 2013 and earlier you must select tow mode for towing. 2014-2015 has no tow mode
