Top case light

Hello everyone

Are there owners who have installed or installed this light on the cover of the top box of their Spyder.

If there are these good or not good, the light is powerful or not ??

Can't say about that one. I have the Custom Dynamics one and it's great.

I'd never even considered one of those. Then I opened my top case at night. Now I need one too.

That is the Old style Custom Dynamics's High Mount Tail/Turn light and YES I have one and feel it's very much worth it. Having followed my wife on our RT with my F-150 I realized how little the stock brake light showed when a truck pulls up close. The light is very bright and the turns are too. The new style doesn't have the chrome., it's all one LED light bar.
A top case light is an internal light that lights up the inside of the Top Case when opened at night.

Custom Dynamics high mount third brake light

I also have the High mount light on my 2014 RTS. It is very bright and right in the line of sight of the sleepy auto driver behind you.

It was one of the first mods I did to my :spyder2:. Should have been there from the factory.

Hi Fly,
Well that is a matter of personal opinion. The High Mount brake light was one of the FIRST farkels I installed on my :spyder2: and it has worked flawlessly for years. I have one from a different manufacturer and it looks OEM. It's VERY bright when the brakes are applied and quite visible with the ignition on.

Hi Fly,
Well that is a matter of personal opinion. The High Mount brake light was one of the FIRST farkels I installed on my :spyder2: and it has worked flawlessly for years. I have one that is like the one you shown. They are at eye level of the auto driver and mine is VERY bright.
