top box real cheap

I purchased a Bestem top box for $110 Cdn. used 1 inch plastic rod cut at one inches to mount above the rear of the glove box at the back of the bike. Drilled the rod to match the bolt sizes and cut my own rubber gaskets to keep glove box water proof. Connected top box brake light to existing brake wiring.

Work was done in an hour and it looks and works great.

:congrats: Looks very much like the givi monokey BRP tries to sell us. 2 questions: will it fit full face helmet?
& will it come off mounting plate easily for travels (can come in room like luggage). Thanks

very nice set up. :clap::clap: if it is like the rack/glovebox/backrest cover plate it should be removable. I have a rack I attatch to the backrest and mount a travel bag to it so when going to the room I just remove the whole backrest and put on the cover plate...:thumbup:

I would check E-bay .... I've looked at ( and bought ) them and they might have 200 different shapes sizes even colors ...some with LED's etc. ...most for less than $100 shipped free .......... Mike :thumbup:

It has a quick release so that you can take it off and carry it in if you wish. It will hold a full face helmet and mine is the largest you can buy. It took me 5 seconds to remove it from the plate, you have to remember to disconnect the lights though they just plug in The colour fits in nice with the black on the bike.

The $110 dollars is because it is Canada in the US they sell for $80 to $90 Mine is the largest one with led brake lights
