I was at Cowtown USA yesterday discussing a trade. Len offered me the chance to ride an 11 so I took him up on it. You will notice the firmer front suspension almost immediatly. This was a brand new, o miles bike, so I don't know what the front springs were set at. It was a short ride, about 10 miles round trip with only a couple of 45mph corners so wasn't much of a handling test. It does not roll over in the corners to the extent the 10 did, it does have a firmer ride. This was not an S model so I don't know what the air bag was set at. It does have the 2nd generation rear shock which is a plus. You will also notice the difference in the front windshield, I haven't decided if I like it or not. It will take some inclement weather testing to see how it works. It still seems like it picks up ever irregularity in the road, much like the 10. It also seems a little louder to both my wife and I but that may just be us. It seems pretty much like my 10 after I added the Elkas to the front.
We're pretty close on a deal, just waiting on some answers. Looks like a new Magnesium may be in our future. By the way Len said he had just recieved about a dozen new sypders. He had Magnesium, Blue, Black, and Red in stock. More Spyders in his shop than any other shop I've been in. Cool place and an absolutely nice guy. If you have the chance, stop in and visit. I think you will be impressed.
