TomTom 550

I know that most on here prefer the Garmin Zumo, but I have the TomTom 550. I have searched the TomTom site with no luck, and I’ve not seen anything on here so I’ll ask. Is it possible with the 550 to view the road/highway that you’re travelling in WITHOUT putting in a destination. All that I’ve been able to view without a specific destination is an overview of the general area that you’re in, rather than the road/highway that you’re travelling on.

I know that Garmin defaults to the road/highway that you’re travelling on, but my TomTom doesn’t seem to.

Is it possible you have the screen resolution zoomed too far out. I know zero about TomToms.

Yes, that is possible, but in this case not the answer. I’ve played with the resolution, and am hoping to hear from someone who has the 550. I know that they are out there. Thanks for the comeback JayBros.
