• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

'Tis The Season...

Really....😲

The modern day santa is wired into the cam grid of the city :yikes: with a hundreds of moniters....:roflblack:

:D The Big-Guy is still "Old School": he prefers to get out and see what's going on; with his own eyes.

But you never can tell; can you? :shocked:

Yep! I also like the "old school" stuff. Going to watch Christmas Story, It's A Wonderful Life, and my 50's version of A Christmas Carol in the next week or so. :yes::yes:

Merry Christmas to all. :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

I've already seen "It's a Wonderful Life" once this year. :thumbup: (The best move... EVER!! :bowdown:)
Do you know the viewing dates for "Christmas Carol"? I'm up for watching The original verfsion, the one from the fifties, and the one from 1999. nojoke
":Christmas Story": I'll watch the marathon... and I've got it on DVD! :roflblack:

I own the three videos I mentioned above. Turner will probably broadcast Christmas Story back to back all day Christmas. The fifties version Christmas Carol--(two different ones) Alistar Simm and Reginald Owen usually show up on Christmas Eve. Both are less than an hour and a half. :yes:

1938 Reginald Owen
1951 Alastair Sim
1984 George C Scott
1999 Patrick Stewart
2009 Jim Carrey

I think that I prefer the 1999 and 1951 versions... followed closely by 1938.

The others: not so much. :dontknow:
