• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Tire Pressure Question

I-Day

New member
Well I did it! I now have a Kumho Ecsta on the rear of my 2016 F3T. I’m 6’5 and 310lbs! Any tire pressure recommissioned? I ran 28 in the stock Kenda and I know from past forums many of you don’t run that much pressure in a car tire! I’m an old man so I don’t race it or drive crazy. Do occasionally go to up!

Try 20 psi to start with. Maybe go up to 22 considering your weight. The Kuhmo is a much harder tire then stock and will last a very long time. But you sacrifice grip for that. So the lower the air pressure in general means more grip, but may make the back end feel a little sloppy.

:agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree:AND :agree: ....... I think 18 would be better tho ...... and any Squishey feeling is only in your mind ... That tire is DESIGNED to carry 1450lbs +/- ....... Mike

Close, 1,356 lbs, but we get your drift.... ;) And at 14psi cold there is nothing squishy about it. But I agree with a little higher pressure for his scenario + occasional 2up....

Start with the recommended pressures and adjust a pound or two at a time. Get them where you are comfortable and you should be good.

Yeah, I’ve got the Kuhmo and I’ve got a few pounds on you, I-Day. I ran at 24 for a while, then 22, 20, and 18 and experienced no issues and a “seat of the pants” best handling feeling for me at 18. I’ve settled on 20psi as about the right ‘feel” for me, but as Billy says, suck it and see.
