• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tire pressure important!

I was a little unhappy with the sway of my RTs until I checked and set my tire pressures. From the dealer...front 15 & 17, rear 24. Reset to 20 front and 30 rear. It's like a different bike. You would think the dealer would check this before delivery. Took me 4 days to check tho' Shame on me!

Everyone needs to keep in mind also that air temperature can play a big part in tire pressures. Best to check tires once a week or anytime there is an outdoor temperature change. Tire pressure can really play havoc with your ride if it is off and especially if the front tires don't match up.

:agree: I usually check my tire pressure two or three times a week and always in the morning after the bike has set all night.

.just a few cents worth

On our 2013 the center of the tire wore at short distance using higher recommend pressure. He now has us Riding at 23 with our 2015. We ride a lot of higher speed roads not all secondary roads and the dealer says the tire expands in the center at higher pressure. So I've learned to relax my grip and don't notice the sway. Just saying

I got that learning experience when I got a little complacent about checking my tire pressure. My Spyder seemed hard to steer. Low an behold I checked the front tire pressure and it was 14 lbs. Filled it up to 19 and all was good again.

Since then I decided to get a TPMS system (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). I got this so I would never be surprised again.
It's also a nice safety thing if you riding and start loosing air on one of the tires.
