i Have almost 7,000 miles on mine and it's pretty close to the wear bar so i was doing some research on tires and i found 1 i want to try i know a few people are using the kumho tire i'am using something else but thats another post. What i noticed is when you get down to the wear bar their is still tons of rubber on that tire so i'am not sure what makes it unsafe to keep using it. But i'am not leaving it on to find out either. OH by the way thank you gary
Rog, :dontknow:
At only 7 thousand miles are you sure your looking at the true wear bars??
The bars with the little horizontal grooves are sometimes mistaken for wear bars.
Mine is darn near bald every 7,000 miles.....![]()
wow! It seems like you just got your :spyder2:, but I guess it's almost a year! Time does fly, and so must you if you are already getting a new back tire! How many miles did you get on your first back tire?

Nothing wrong with the original tire, Might not pass the Dime test but it will pass the Penny test.![]()
The newest test is the quarter. They say tires are too low on traction with a penny. :dontknow:Here is the original tire. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1291&pictureid=14323
