• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Changed my wife's rear tire recently, it was past due at 36,000 miles on tire . Changing mine at 30,000 miles on tire. Looks like that's the right mileage to change at.
We been super happy with the performance of this brand and the mileage they provide is just a bonus.

Is 30,000 miles your first rear tire change?

No - at 9000 miles the stock tire was bald and I had to change it out in a Big O tire lot. Had them mount what they had. After 27,000 miles (36,000 miles on the Spyder). I changed it out to the Vredestein. Now with 30,000 on that tire (65,000 miles on the Spyder) I putting a new one on.
This is on my 2020 RTL.

I'm glad you are happy with the Vredestein's. They are a great tire..... if that is your old tire in the Pic are you sure it's worn out ..... I don't go by Mileage to determine when it's time to change a tire I use the WEAR indicators built into the Tread .... JMHO .... Mike

The wear indicators are very close to the tread depth that's left. I may get another 1000 miles out of the tire, but I will be heading back to Nashville in 10 days. That's 1600 miles from door to door. T
Here in AJ I have an independent shop that will dismount the old tire install and balance the new one and get rid of the old tire for $20. Of course I have to bring them the wheel, but that's not a problem for me.
In Nashville I haven't found anyone that will mount a non oem tire

I put those on the front of my spyder and love them so far. Thats what I will also put on the rear of mine.
Glad to hear that you got 30K out of it. What PSI are you running in it if you don't mind me asking.

Man, that's some mileage you're putting on the Spyder! Does it ever get a chance to be parked and relax in your garage? :roflblack:

Tire Miles

:chat:...Well that's a huge amount of miles on those tires. I'm going to have to check them out when my time for new one comes due.
