• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tilt-A- Hitch

I found this hitch that will tilt your trailer and possibly allow the Spyder to be loaded without the front end bottoming out. I think this would be good for loading a Spyder on a Utility Trailer. I'm considering the Drop Tail Trailer but a Utility Trailer and the tilt-a-hitch would be a good alternative.

Does anyone have any experience with this product? It's also available at amazon

I'd be concerned with it's capacity for handling all of that adjustability. When things can move, they can move at an inoppportune time! :yikes:
But that's just me... :opps:
 
We always had the same issue with our dragsters. The solution...lower the tongue jack and crank it up to raise the front of the trailer a bit. You can get about a foot without disconnecting the hitch. Just remember to lower the jack and tilt it back out of the way before you drive off into the sunset. :yikes:
 
I have done that thang with forgeting to swivel it back up!!! Normaly don't go to far before you say :cus: And then stop and try to swivel it up....:banghead:
 
I'd like to know what holds those blue pins in? Hood pins?
They aren't the type that you push a button on the head to release a ball in the shaft that locks the pin in.

I think if you look close at the end of the pin, there a hole for spring clip to go in. A lot of farm stuff have those pins.

I plan on using a trailer to take the Spyder in for service when it can’t be driven, other than that I would prefer to ride the Spyder to my destination. The Drop Tail is a consideration but rather an expensive option for taking the Spyder in for service.

If I were to get the Tilt a Hitch I would replace the blue pins with locking pins.
