• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

throttle question

When driving the paddle shifter, are you rotating the throttle closed before shifting and then rolling on again? I find I have this habit from my other days riding 2 wheeled machines with clutches, but don't know if it makes a difference here. ????

NO - The SE5 is designed to be held wide open when shifting

:2thumbs: Keep your RPMs up around 5ooo and shift away, holding the throttle steady and it should be smooth as silk :2thumbs:

I used to do that too, but found much smoother to keep throttle steady and just tap paddle. Big difference;)

Let the SE5 do the work

Like the others above have already said...keep your throttle position steady...it will blip the RPMs for you when shifting.

Since it's a throttle by wire setup, it automatically drops the revs for the shifting. You just hold it steady and let the computers do their dance! :ohyea:
