• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Throttle Lock

I do go into my profile and go into the album marked my spyder I have a pic of it in there, works real good no complaints here.:2thumbs:

I believe ESI markets this one for I7.

It's supposed to be a very good product from what I've read. I use the Throttlemeister...really love it...

I'm sure either would work for you...the TM is nicely weighted so that it cuts back on vibration as well...

Check out NMN/ESI's link on the home page...Evan (the owner) is a sponsor of the site and he's a real quality guy...

Good luck...whatever you end up with you'll certainly enjoy!

Has anyone used the Industries 7 Throttle Lock? Who distributes it? :dontknow:

Director has one and likes it. I think it's a universal mount Vista Cruise or at least a very similar design to the universal Vista Cruise. Those should be available at any number of motorcycle parts places, both online and brick and mortar stores. I got a Vista Cruise made for some model of Yamaha and modified it, following ataDudes directions, to work on my Spyder.

I ordered mine directly from Industries 7. It is what it is, an inexpensive throttle lock. Works fine. Didn't get any install directions with mine but had put them on other bikes in the past so no problem.
