How do you search for a specific thread. I'm looking for the "pay if forward" thread but having no luck. (I think that's what it was called)

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First, you have to get the name correct. Then, I go to 'advanced search' and type in what I'm searching for and use quotes (") and the plus (+) sign: "pay+it+forward"
Also, cross your fingers and click your heels three times; b'c it may not always work.

You shouldn't have to put the + signs in, just wrap your search text with quotes ". Also, if you're not sure which forum to search, click the Forum link in the menu line below the SL banner and use the search box to the far right - this will search all of the forums.
