• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thoughts on upgrading from 2021 Rally to 2023 Rally - worth it?

One of the dealers near me is offering big discounts on "new" 2023 Ryker Rallys that haven't sold. I've got a 2021 Rally and love it, but they have added new features to the Rally since 2021 that I wish mine had - doing the math based on MSRP prices for accessories from the Can-AM website, there's over $3000 in "upgrades" on the 2023 Rally over my 2021:

- Sand Storm limited edition panel kit ($400)
- KYB adjustable suspension on front wheels ($250??)
- Akrapovic exhaust (at least $1000??)
- Rally rims ($670, but I wouldn't pay for the new rims)
- Grill guard ($210)
- Auxiliary LED light bar in hood ($200?)
- Rally handlebar ($120)
- Glove box lock ($60)
- Air intake pre-filter ($175)
- Rally rear tire Mud flap ($45)
- Rally comfort seat ($330)
- Newer Rally foot pegs ($100??)
- Cruise control ($170, but not available on 2021)

I wouldn't necessarily pay to add all these accessories to my current Rally, but if I could get all of them AND a Rally that's two years newer for less than I paid for my Rally in 2021, is it worth it or a stupid idea? Depending on what I could sell or trade in my 21 Rally for, it might only be $3K - $4k to upgrade. Thoughts???

Don’t sound bad rally to rally. Especially if items not available for current 21 assuming that are going to remove whatever extras have already acquired & can transfer over as well. Good luck (sell/trade with an empty tank) **there’s also the 25 Canyon might want to consider

It all depends on where you ride it. The 2022+ Rally's are far better gravel road machines than the previous editions out of the box. If you only/mainly do sealed roads, then the '21 would be my choice... although I would fit Cruise Control to it.

I do like the looks of the Canyon (so far nobody else I've talked to does!) so I'm thinking about that... but I'm a sucker for green, so of course I'd want the Redrock, and my wallet definitely isn't ready for that! :)

I heard you can't fit the OEM cruise control to the 21 or earlier b/c the ECU is different. And I don't know if I'd trust the aftermarket options

I had a 2019 Rally; I bought a 2023 - night and day difference! The 2023 is worth buying.
