• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This Osprey is a real HUNTER!

While on the subject of birds of prey, I just watched a large group (murder) of crows attack a bald eagle along the freeway, this is nothing new but this time they were actually landing on its back and pecking at its head, sometimes several at a time. The eagle suddenly winged over and crashed into the ground from about 50' up. He was lying wounded or dead along side the freeway in a small field that had been hayed recently. Never seen that before is all I can say.

Nature is beautiful if you are not included in the food chain. Beautiful to watch.

Similar happens when the hooligan fish (big smelt) come into Turnagain Arm. Eagles are all over the place and fishing. Thousands of gulls waiting for the spoils. All will be sitting on the mud flats waiting for the bore tide to bring them lunch.

Similar happens at river mouths when the trout and salmon are running.

Awesome..!!

first one was like shooting fish in a barrel but the others going into the water were amazing and probably picked up more than their own weight and flew away with it...wow..!!

Thats some neat video. I was fishing on a small pond one day when a red tail hawk snatched a black snake out of the water around 30yrds from my boat. Was the only thing I seen caught that day as I didnt do as well as the hawk.
