The wait is killing me.....MAYBE have Spyder back this Friday

Oh man am I ever having Spyder withdrawal. I called my friend who is painting my Spyder today and he said, MAYBE on Friday. GRRR! Some of his problems were that with all the curves and nooks and crannies on the panels he can't use the wheel he was hoping to use. Also, the clear coat finish isn't on as thick as he thought it was on the factory paint. So he is touching up some of the silver first as that is the base he is using for my House of Kolor Transparent Candy Apple Red. Painted over the Silver spyder and base will give it a deep tone which I think is very classy. He is putting a Cross with a white rose wrapped around it on my back fender and matching vine with rosebuds on the front fenders. There will be a hint of a cross, almost an illusion, on the front trunk hood. I have this all envisioned in my mind, so I pray I am not disappointed. I don't think I will be. I just can not stand the wait, but I want it done right. I do not want an "I told you so" from Lamonster either ;D He told me when a painter says two weeks it can mean two months.

I don't think all our stuff and a back seat passenger will fit on my Spyder for the Homecoming trip. Maybe I'll be going solo...

Sounds like your baby is gonna look awesome. The colour sounds great and the artwork.... Well we're goin' to need to see a pic when it is done (on Friday I hope)

Okay, here is the latest scoop. I get to pick up the panels on Friday and put my baby back together. All the Candy Apple Red is done with the illusion of a cross on the front trunk. I take it back after the holiday weekend to get the rest of the graphics put on. I will post what I get and take it from there.
