• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Irishman and I are so close he can volunteer me to go pick up the Banner --- 2 maybe 3 hundred miles round trip.
It just so happens I am doing absolutely nothing and would be willing to stop ---and go get the banner.

ST. JOSEPH, MISSOURI, WOW!!!!!!!

Are you saying that your trip ends in St. Joe.? That's my home. I think there are 3 Spyders in town, my RT and 2 RS models. We'll watch for you and try to meet. Maybe I can arrange to find time to go to Hayes and ride with you guys back to St. Joe.

Irishman,

On your route from OK to NM, I will assume that you will pass thru Amarillo, TX. If so, I would suggest that you stop by Palo Duro Canyon State Park (www.palodurocanyon.com). If you can stay for the evening, watch the Texas show at the bottom of the canyon. I did this last year on my way to the LA owner's event. I hope to return this summer with the kids.

I would love to meet up and see y'all, but that is on the other side of TX for me!

Consider yourself Volunteered!! Maybe a halfway meet? And would you settle on a Road Name for the Web Site we're making? :roflblack:

Frank...that would be great. :2thumbs:

There is a chance we will end in Kansas City and skip the leg to St Joe. Depends on how we're doing on schedule. Gene is already whining about the total length :roflblack:

Each night we will decide the final route for the next day

Irish-- I may meet up with you in NM/AZ section of your trip. I'll be in Fruita, CO for the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival May14-15, then thought I'd loop down to NM and around. I'll get in touch as we get closer ..
:spyder:

Got a PM from Tom in NM who had some great suggestions. He's going to join us in Moriarty NM and, instead of tasking the Sandia Peak Tram, we are going to ride up the mountain. Dropping the Atomiic Energy and Rattlesnake museums (which I wasn't strong on anyway...more to rest our butts) in favor of taking a short side trip to the Pueblo Indian Sky City in Acoma Pueblo.

He also suggested some eateries but Gene is keeping those secret LOL

Darn we are going to pass on the Atomic Energy plant. I was hoping to get an autograph from Homer Simpson----he's Irish you know.

Irish, don't miss Acoma. It's another world. But while you're there, dont buy any fry bread from that old Pueblo woman who sells it. I think she makes it out of wallpaper paste. Could be toxic. They make good frizbees, though, once your well clear of the rez.

If I have no other obligations, I can join you for the Ohio leg.

Joe
If you're even remotely close to Philadelphia on your way through PA, count me in! :doorag:

I will only be in Western PA and, even then, only for a few miles. However, I hope to do the Covered Bridge Run in Bucks County in late June/early July

As for the Ohio leg, I appreciate the offer but I will be caging my Spyder until I reach MO.
