• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

issue. Just to give you an update. For those who have been told by Can AM you are riding the brake and you dont see it happening.?

We were out at our dealer today and checked on Nomads bike for him since he gave up and drove for his Vacation.

Can Am has instructed the dealer that they are going to release an update that should help with this problem.

As for Nomads bike they are sending a complete new Soft Ware program down for the dealer to replace his with and some other front end parts.

also and update on Hess's Givi Bags that opened and got dinged by the road.
Can AM has never responded to the email sent to Carlo or the calls placed to Can AM. No blame here with Carlo as we know he has been covered up. But Can AM is lacking.

Good news is GIVI is great we emailed them in CA and Paul at GIVI has agreed to pay for the our dealer for the damaged insert. Now that is great Customer Service

FYI- Carlo is here working at the BRP Maggie Valley Owner's event. You're correct, he is loaded.... and out of town.

Something Else Going on Here

Had the DPS failure problem while comming home from Spyderfest and was sure I didn't have my foot on the brake. Took it to the dealer and heard the "foot on the brake" story. they reset the codes and all WAS well. Just took a 800 mile trip and in the middle of the return, the power steering failed again. Pulled over along with the other two bikes I was ridding with, shut the key off, waited and all was OK again. To be sure I wasn't insane, had one of the other ridders follow me and after about 50 miles the handle bar red warning came on again and no power steering. Rode this way another 30 miles to the next town, turned it off and again it reset to normal. Ridder behind me had been watching my brake light and NO, I wasn't ridding the brake. Rode another 250 miles to home with no more failures. It is going back to the dealer tomorrow. I have over 17,000 miles on this RT and not until the past 2 monthe have I had anything related to the DPS failure. It has had the DPS unit replaced (last year as part of the recall). People, we have a problem and although some ridders problems may be related to "foot on the brake" this isn't and I suspect I'm not the only one.
