• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Glad

Just glad you Rangers stick together. My dad (long deceased) was in the Rangers in the Korean War. His whole outfit was wiped out and he was left for dead but was found alive when our forces retook the hill. Proud to be the son of a Ranger.

Well it has been all most 20 years that I retired out of the UsArmy. By buddy just joust out 8 years ago but went to live in south Amrica. Lost all touch with him in the 1990 s. But good to find him now. Me to lost lots of my guys in 68-70 years only 5 are still alive today. But keep in touch with them a lot so now have the last one in hand. Work hard to be a great Ranger for shure.

...Iam down here in San anto, Tx ...

I am not back in Texas yet, but my retirement property is about 30 miles west of Fredericksburg on 290. There is some great riding roads out in that area. We'll be back home around fall if you need some more local folks to help out. There are a few posts around about a trike reunion and a regular meet around Kerrville that you might enjoy.

A first cousin

was a captain in the Rangers and in Korea during the fighting. He was a Marine in WW II and served in combat in the Pacific. As evil as the Japanese were during combat, something happened in Korea which prompted my cousin, a career soldier, to leave the Army when he returned to the states. Your dad had to be one tough guy!
