• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thank you, thank you! Got codes C006C AND C0040 - Forum provided fix!

I have a 2021 RT Limited, 9000 miles.
First thing this year, battery died (bad battery), replaced it. Then I noticed the cruise did not work. Then I took it to a rally and on one of the rides, after 50 miles it got a VSS Fault, and it went into limp mode. We googled how to reset the fault and after that it would only run for around 20 minutes before going back into Limp Mode, with the codes C006C AND C0040. After reading a bunch of threads here and checking everything I could, one thread suggested to pull the keys out of the bike and get them away from the bike for a few minutes. I most always leave the keys in it and my spare key has been in the glove compartment since it was new.
Bingo! I got back on it and now cruise works, and I rode 50+ miles with no codes or Limp Mode. I hope this works out, but I wanted to thank you guys for the help!

Glad you got it worked out. The 'Walk Away Key' approach is not a bad first step with any Limp Home mode issue. Doesn't always work. But when it does, it's GOLDEN!

It may have been your bad battery creating the issues. If so, you should be good to go now.
