I just had to pass along my experience with F4 Customs.
Little background…
I have a F4 Customs stock tinted windshield.
Last year while traveling down the highway a truck going in the opposite direction kicked up a rock around the size of a silver dollar which struck my shield. The F4 windshield performed as advertised, adsorbed the rock strike without breaking or cracking and the only damage was a small chip in the impact area.
Fast forward to last week…
After sizing up the location of the rock strike I decide that installing a vent would be ideal to remove the area where the chip is.
I contacted Don Frank at F4 Customs to get some advice on the vent location and as a side note I asked about some blotching I have on the lower part of my windshield wondering if it may be the tint coming away from the shield & specifically stating that the windshield was 2 years old and I was not looking for anything except his opinion on the cause of the blotching.
The following is the response I received…
Kevin the tint is all the way through the shield but this could be a coating issue. The shield is under a limited warranty even with the rock strike. Give our office a call and talk to Alicia and she can tell you when you purchased it and what the warranty is.
I contacted Alicia yesterday morning and was told that it was a delaminating issue with the coating and that they were going to replace my windshield free of charge no questions asked!!!
In this day & age, what company steps up to the plate and takes care of their customers like that???
F4 CUSTOMS DOES!!!
I want to thank Don & Alicia for the outstanding customer service and I look forward to dealing with F4 Customs for ALL my future windshield needs!
