There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's gotta be counting repeat views, cos the list of 'Members who have read this thread:' down below the 'Thanks/Likes' buttons & the 'Reply to Thread' button shows only 39 members have looked in, and that includes both of the Mods currently on the Boards, who are meant to check out every post anyway - so every time you or anyone else adds a new post to the thread, we are meant to at least try to check it out!
So 6 posts by the 2 of us each checking those posts individually would account for at least 12 of those views being from the Mods alone - IF we haven't looked in twice or maybe more often just to be sure that no-one's snuck a new post in while we weren't looking!! 
And besides, it is a pretty good pic with some pretty nice handiwork gone into fitting the duplicated switches, so I can see others looking at it more than once too... What about you, broderp?? How many times have you checked this thread since posting the original post??

I check the count every time and it always stays the same. It's not counting me more than once. I've found this to be true for a very long time. But I agree. Nice pic!
If it's gonna change the count, it'll do it AFTER you back right out of the thread - like 'Notifications', if you see that word flashing and go to see what's in there; it stays flashing no matter what else you go on to do in your 'Settings &/or Private Messages' area; in your Inbox, Sent Items, Send New Message; or even edit your folders etc... the 'Notifications' sign up the top of the page will stay flashing until you get entirely out of that area - and AFAICS, the 'Members who have Read count & names; and the number of Views & Replies stays the same until you've well & truly left that thread & it's index listing!
Dunno why any of those things wait 'til you've gone, you'd think they'd update when you open the page, but they don't do that, they wait until you've left the building & gone shopping on High Street! :shocked:
And now we've successfully messed up the count of how many people are actually looking at the pic that they could really ignore, and we haven't even mentioned oil or tires yet! :yikes: Ooops, just blew that, didn't I!?!
