• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Test Ride 2014 RTS

NorthStar

New member
I am scheduled to take a test ride on a new 2014 RTS on Monday October 28th. I will be providing a report of the power, handling and creature comforts of this new machine for those of you who may be interested in reading a first hand account of my experience. I will be driving on winding roads and will attempt to push the machine, in a spirited manner, through the twisties. This is not a "group" ride so I am hopeful that the BRP Rep will open it up on occasion so I can get some real world results on how this machine handles compared to a 2010 and 2013 model year.

If anyone has a specific question they want answered by the BRP rep, or want me to focus on a particular element during my ride please feel free to post it here.

I am curious about the new and lower RPMs so any first hand info on that would be appreciated.

Curious..!!

why your comparison is to the 2010 and 2013...what about the 2012..?? :roflblack: no comparison..right..??

I'd be interested in knowing how the bike "feels"... It's at least sixty pounds heavier than prior years; has that changed the bulk of the machine when it's on the road and up to speed?

The list has started

Lower RPM's
Direct comparison to 2010
"Feel" of Heavier Weight
