• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Temperature gauge question

For three straight years and approximately 37,500 miles, the Spyder has consistently displayed 4 bars on the temperature gauge after it has fully warmed up, no matter what the ambient temperature has been.

Today, it started fluctuating randomly between 3 and 4 bars. The 3 bar display appeared predominately during higher speeds, but, this too, was randomly.

Might this be because the thermostat is beginning to possibly “stick” slightly open on occasion, or should I just not concern myself with this unusual behavior? Everything else is behaving just fine.

I think it may be the sensor, but I'd check the fluid level first. If it climbs past 4 bars or more, you might have a Spyder tech take a look at it. Also, your radiator may need a cleaning. Too many dead bugs.
