There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't think there is any technical differences between the two. They don't have the timeless black in 2012 (replaced by Lava Brown ) you can order more factory installed accessories on the 2012, they added more chrome and of course jacked the price. I think you are best to go to the BRP website and compare the two there . I was on the site yesterday and built a RT limited some of the standard stuff on the 2011s are options on the 2012s .

New Lava Brown color, New Green color, improved seat configuration on RTS, new color for instrument panel lighting--I think thats about it.

We have both models in the garage. There is no difference in the seat. The instrument panel lights are now orange compared to blue. Limited now comes in Lava Brown or White with the option of a black seat or a tan seat.
That's about it!
