• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pudge and I departed the Village about 8 am, temp at 48F. Took Arkansas 298 west along the north shore of Lake Ouachita, 40 miles long. Then followed 88w into Mena then 270 West into Oklahoma. RT 259 took us to the Talimena Scenic Trail. It is also call the Winding Staircase. Late lunch in Broken Bow Oklahoma then 70 east back to Hot Springs. The entire trip was around 9 hours

I just recently took 259 down through the Ouchita's from Ft Smith to DeKalb, TX (towing Sis's car from MN to E. Tx) and was wishing I could have ridden that section, Beautiful, Beautiful twisties and views, now I know to turn at the Talimena Trail to enjoy some more goodness when I take the Spyder down there.
You are soooo Blessed.

I rode the Talimena Scenic Drive two weeks ago. I rode from NE Ar down to Hot Springs then across to Mena. Rode the parkway to the end and spent the night in a quaint motel in Talahina Ok. I have been all over Arkansas, and in my opinion this is the most beautiful scenery in the state!

Good to know...

Great photos and must have been a great ryde...thanks for the pictures.. they help when we don't know those roads....

We did the drive the weekend before last. Great weather! We has 23 riders on 17 bikes/Spyders. Rode up it Saturday and spent the night in Mena and rode back down Sunday. If you go to Mena, eat at the Branding Iron. Best steak I have ever had!!
