• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Take time today to remember those that ensure our freedom and safety

Take some time today to remember those that work to ensure our safety and freedom...firefighters, policemen/women and our troops...especially those that have sacrificed all to do so. We rode in the 9th Annual Firefighters Ride yesterday from Cleveland to Medina OH, along with some other Ohio SpyderRyders (and 1100 other riders). It was beautiful riding weather and the ride was well coordinated with local police. We enjoyed the ride, with all proceeds going to the families of fallen firefighters. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend, everyone.

Oh God Please keep my mind sharp so I will always remember this day to thanks all those who gave their life and when my time comes I will be glad to join them in peace. My Fellow Vietnam Vet. God Bless us All

I reread the diary that Bruisersbaby's father kept while aboard the USS Hornet during WWII. I must have read that book at least a dozen times. He lived the history I studied and majored in, the Pacific naval war. He passed away at the young age of 61 in 1981. I only had a short time, two years, to talk to and know him. In my family there were three of us boys in the military at the same time. My oldest brother, rest his soul, was in the Army Reserve, my older brother was in Viet Nam with the Army the same time I was in basic training for the USAF. My youngest brother served in the Navy from 1978-82. To those that gave all in all the wars this country has fought in and still fight in, from the bottom of my heart, thank you my brothers and sisters. I pray that your souls are at peace. Stand down...we have the watch.
