• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Switching from HID Head lights to LEDs

When the mice decided to remodel the front end of my 2013 RT-Ltd they ate through one if the wires for the HID headlights I had installed. Since LED head lights from Xenon Depot are almost as bright as the HID lights, I've decided to swap them out. I have a couple of questions though.

1. For the HID lights you have to put in a 1" hole in the cover that covers the bulb. I looked for that part on Cheap Cycle Parts and can't seem to find it. It looks as if you have to purchase the entire light housing. Does anyone know where I can purchase two covers or

2. Does anyone have any ideas on how to plug up the hole except for using duct tape?

3. Does the low beam shutter mechanism live inside of the housing where the bulb is located? The reason I'm asking is that LED lights were tought to put into the housing and I wonder if I'll mess up the shutter.

I've also got Tricled's LED lights for the front fenders and I did purchase the blinker option. Since I've got a trailer module and hitch, are the blinkers going to flash faster? Is there any way to reset them on a 2013 RT-Ltd?

Thanks,

Tony

I think you mean the cap that goes on the back of the headlight housing......If so it's part # 219800136 @ PROCALIBER.COM ---- If you register ( for free ) they will show you the dis-counted prices.......Mike ........... Question #3. JC Thorne just posted PICS of How it's done for the RT.......He has them and says NO interference with shutter.........Mike
