• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Suspension Squeel

We have a 2012 RT-SE5 semi-automatic with about 2500 miles. It developed a squeeling noise in the front left (my wife says rear) suspension not long after delivery (new). Once up to speed it goes away. My dealer says "not to worry, it's just bushings settling in and will go away after about 4,000 miles". Brakes have also developed some squeeking as well. Has anyone experienced this problem? Thanks in advance for any advice. JMT

My dealer says "not to worry"... Famous words many times followed by "You should have gotten this taken care of right away before it was a serious problem" at a later date.

Dealer may be right about bushing setting in, but I suspect it's dirt on the brakes causing the squeal. Not uncommon for dust and dirt to accumulate at the leading edge of a disk brake pad and cause squeal. Does the squeal stop if you apply a slight amount of braking while moving? If so, then it's the brakes. I had it off an on for about 400 miles when I was at 6500 miles on the odometer. The it just went away and 2000 miles later it is still quiet.
