• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Superclamp installation

WELL I am all set to install the superclamps I got in. Any words of wisdom form other owners? I will be using them on my 2014 RT limited. The manufacture gent said something about when I install the straps, to go off of the passenger foot pegs instead of the drivers foot boards. Any suggestions on other options to strap it down instead of the foot pegs?

I have run etrack (painted) a little wider than the Spyder body about 2/3 of the trailer and use this in place of the eye bolts.
I also have a removable Condor M/C chock in the front center. The Spyder clamps are as you know are removeable and the etrack works well for either M/C or Spyder. I spray painted the etrack orange to match the Super Clamps. No other tie downs needed for anything using this method.

Easy install, pm me if any questions.

Use the passenger footpegs. They only partially hold the Spyder forward into the clamp and the clamps do the rest. You could use painted track and skip the I bolts. Much more versatile. Check my previous post. I have the same Spyder.

Gonna go with the hardware that came with it for now, gotta get it done for today. Like the idea of traks, the floor of my trailer is 2 x 6 treated lumber, would that be a problem? Do you use the tie down straps that came with the superclamp? Seems they would be a little hard to use around the passenger pegs?

If you have driver floorboards you have to use the passenger floorboards or pegs. It works just fine.

I have seen a lot of folks post pictures of their Super Clamps installed and I see they mixed up the left and right chocks. So don't do that. ;)

2X6 flooring is fine for the I Bolts. I would put largest washer possible underneath to prevent chaffing of the wood. i.e. between wood and nut with a lock washer.

Yes I use the the ratchet straps that came with the Superclamps.

Follow the directions to the T including measurements and you will have no problems.
