• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SuperClamp for Spyder

I just returned from my first trip after installing SuperClamp for the Spyder. This a great buy if your hauling the bike in an RV toy hauler or any other trailer that you need to strap down. It took me about 2 minutes to tie down and maybe half that to untie. I was a little
nervous about only 2 tie down straps holding that bike down but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and opened the RV to see everything was still in great shape. No movement at all. We drove some rural roads to get to the camp site. We all know how that can be. I'm a big fan of these now.:thumbup:

Does your spyder have foot pegs or floor boards? I have floor boards and I am trying to figure out how to use the tie downs on them with this system.

Just take the strap and wrap around the hinge part of the board. I have two sets on a 18 foot trailer and carry two limiteds that have boards. It will wrap around back passenger floor boards and pull forward.

for me, my tiedown spots force me to be unable to use one of the straps that come with the SC's. so what I do is use a regular strap and just strap to the y portion of the frame as it goes back around the rear tire of my RS, and it works just as well. :D

supplied strap

You can use other straps than the ones supplied. Key to using this system is that the ties need to come forward pulling bike into the
ramps. I also used different tie downs because being an RV I didn't want eye hooks in the middle of the floor. I'm sure if you look closely at your points of being able to strap down you can find something.
