• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just something of interest. I have been seeing on line that BRP will not be making parts for Spyders that are over 10 years old. I have a 2013 and was getting concerned about this, so I went to my local dealer and explained to him my concerns and thaat I did not know if I should trade mine in due to this news. The salesman grabbed the owner and asked him about it. He assured me that this is not true. It may be getting harder to get parts on the shelf but unless it is 15 years or more old it wouldn't be necessary to trade it in due to the fact that if you replace one part it seems another one is right behind it. Since mine only has 12,000 miles on it I should be ok for a few more years. No pressure at all to get me to buy another.
