Summer Travels

I am posting the schedule for my summer travels in case anyone wants to join me for all or part of the trip.
I also have room for any lucky lady that doesn't have wheels but wants to see the country on the back of
a Spyder:clap:. I DON'T have room for any guy to ride bi%$h so the invite is only for the ladies:sour:.
Following is a rough schedule...

June 2 - June 4 Cuba, MO (I am going here in case I need some maintenance)
June 4 - June 7 Kansas City, MO (Harley Rally, I used to be a Harley rider)
June 7 - June 20 Kicking around Western US
June 20 - June 24 Durango, CO
June 24 - June 28 Up to Glacier, NP
June 28 - July 5 Icefield Parkway to Jasper, NP in Alberta
July 5 - July ?? Back to Ohio via Canada Rt 1 and then across the Macanack Bridge to Mich and Ohio

I'll be on the road about a Month. Ain't retirement grand:yes:

Go to Jasper from the West, then down the parkway - that's the best direction. I've done that route 6 times now, and it never ceases to amaze and awe… After Glacier, you have to see Waterton - stop by the hotel at 2pm for high tea, you'll never forget it.

Bruce, we should be back to MI by July. When you are headed downrange, give a shout and we'll try to get free to met up for a bit. we owe you an ice cream cone. Are you headed to Mid-Ohio afterward?

Bootie your in for a treat the Icefeilds park way is one of the 5 best drives in the world. I live 4 hours east of Jasper National park and if we are back from our trip to the owners event and you need a place to crash we have a spare bed. I am leaving on June 10th to Cowtown to get the stage 2 kit done and some other stuff I will be there on the 14th. Spending the weekend there and I leave with the guys from Cowtown to the owners event. After the owners event that Sunday im picking up the wife at the Denver airport and then we will be heading home zig zaging through as many national parks as possible. See you at the owners event.

Scotty, the dates are pretty well set up to Jasper, NP. I don't exactly know how long it will take us to get back to the UP. I'll give you a call and maybe we can meet up for a few miles. I'll be traveling with a couple of two-wheeled buddies:doorag:.

I don't think the dates jive for us to meet at Cowtown since I will be there on June 2 and 3. I will be able to see you in Durango. We might hook up after Durango since I will be heading to Glacier, NP and then into Canada.:yes:

When we got up to leave for Jasper from Banff it was raining and cold very cold for july plus 2 it was snowing at the higher elevations. When we got to the Icefeilds Park way it was snowing and it got colder remember this was july 10th the road was fine to drive on but it was cold every biker was at the Saskatchewan Crossing station getting coffee and soup to warm up. It was a very wet spring last year, this year is already way better that it was last year. See you in Durango

Bottie just a heads up last summer(July 10th) we did the trip from home here to Banff National park to Jasper National park. When we got up to leave for Jasper from Banff it was raining and cold very cold for july plus 2 it was snowing at the higher elevations. Thanks for the heads up.:thumbup: Since I'll be on the road for a month and I will be pulling my 622 Trailer, I will have my heated gear along with my heavy riding coat. I will also be somewhat prepared for hot weather.

Looks like I was off by 1 week. I guess I won't be in Cowtown until June 5. My belt change is scheduled for June 6 and then I need to be in Kansas City on June 7.

Well things are looking pretty good for a departure to Cincinnati tomorrow:yes:. I think I am all packed for a 6-week trip. I plan to spend 1 1/2 days at Cowtown to get some maintenance done:clap:. Then off to Kansas City for a rally (Harley Sportsters, I used to have one).
