Summer 2016

We (Wife and I) are planning our summer vacation for 2016. This will be our second trip to Canada. We were born in Montreal but now live in South Texas. In 2013 we were in Montreal, Three Rivers, Ottawa, Simcoe, Honey Harbour with our 2012 Spyder RT Limited, before return to Buffalo. This year our plan is to ride north with stops in Indiana before heading to Detroit where we will cross in to Canada. We have planned on stops to visit friends and family in following places: Amherstburg, Newcastle, Alfred (Ontario); St Lazard, St Antoine Abbe, Quebec (Quebec); Fredericton, Moncton, Gran Manan (New Brunswick); Halifax, Cape North, Cape Breton Is., Cabot Trail (Nova Scotia); Charlottetown (PEI); and then back into Maine. We should cross the border about 3rd June. We anticipate crossing back in to USA around July 10th. Since we are retired folks these dates and places may change.

Does anyone know of any events that are scheduled for June dates along our planned route?

Any suggestions for stop overs would also be welcomed.

check out The Bluenose Rally in Nova Scotia around the 1ST of July, and in August around the 18th is Spyder Odyssey, near Quebec City. also when in Maine you may want to check out The Great North Spyder Ryders and see if we are riding the weekend that fits

I noticed you will be in Newcastle which is right next to us in Bowmanville and on June 10-12 there is the Bowmanville Ribfest with some amazing ribs on the BBQ. Enjoy your ride and stay safe.

I seem to re-call a HUGH Spyder event at the Canada end of Lake Memphramaygog(?) ( Vermont / Canada ) around that time. Ask Lamont He's been there a few times for it.........Annnnnnnnnnd if you go anywhere close to Bar Harbor Me.,......Do not miss going thru Acadia Nat'l Park it is in the top 10 US parks and there are over 1000 parks .........Mike :thumbup:
