• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

stupid cage drivers

At least he used his blinker I never saw yours going when you changed:clap::clap:

Its on just cant see it because the sun is behind me shining into my display. I know I should have slammed on my brakes and let him in even though he is in the merge lane. He was intentionally forcing the situation why? because he just had to get that one more vehicle ahead.

I'm sorry, but what you did was wrong. The vehicle in the lane next to you was ahead of you merging since his lane was ending. He was also using his turn signal to make his intentions known. It was your responsibility to yield to that driver by simply slowing down slightly. You then changed, what, two lanes without using your signal. Sorry, I would say you were clearly in the wrong.

Say that you were 100% in the right.........if you tangle, you lose. You may be right.........maybe even dead right!

I never said i was right and he was wrong. He was very aggressive driver as you can see when he forced himself into another tight spot when he once again changed lanes in front of a truck that had to slam on his brakes. He came up so fast and I was already checking to merge onto I70. Just saying people, be careful out there. And my turn signal was on, just the damn BRP display in direct sunlight.

:agree::lecturef_smilie::shocked:image.jpg image.jpg:coffee: nojokeThey are hard enough to see on most dash as it is, glad there was no incident & you saw the trouble before there was real problem.

it seemed like a normal upstate NY merge to me, if you were in NYC they would have fit 3 more cars in that space

You do realize that the blinking light on the rear corner of that car is a 'turn indicator' light. Not a 'ask for permission to turn lamp'.

He told you what he was going to do and then did it. Did not seek or require your permission. He was ahead and did a proper merge as far as what can be seen in the vid.

The on-ramp had two lanes that required merging into one. I don't know about the legal aspect, but the polite thing would have been to have the vehicles alternate from the two lanes. I'd say it was the Jeeps turn and you should have let it in front of you.

Its called zippering it was his turn to get into left lane.. Sorry can not support you on this one.

I don't want your support nor do I need It. Just saying be careful out there with aggressive drivers. We both had options, he came up supper fast even knowing his lane was ending, did not see him until he was right next to me then I took a second to think " is he really going to force his way in" then its like yep he is coming in, should have just slammed on my brakes so the car behind me could hit me from the rear. Saw quickly that I could safely merge to the left and get out of the situation without slamming on my brakes or decelerating rapidly and I took that option. Not trying to justify anything, there was a lot happening at that point of time with everyone moving close to 70mph I was anticipating merging into a 4 lane highway and now I got someone coming in on the right.

I went back and reviewed my video since I got a couple of comments that my blinker was not on. I was certain I had used it and sure enough, when you go full screen you can see it but barely.

THIS IS THE HOW BIKERS/BYKERS GET A BAD NAME

This is a bad case of MERGING. It's called you go, i go or i go, you go. Not IM NOT LETTING YOU THE FREAK IN! You were so determined not to let that "cage" in. Why? It's like the guy who rides the sport bike 100 MPH in between cars and someone changes lanes and they say the cage was in the wrong.
