• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It about time an example was set..........

Go to YouTube and search for the bus monitor bullying for uncut complete video of what these kids put her through. FYI........ It's a not safe for work video.

Forget where I saw it but someone set up a donation site and the folks really responded. Shes taking a vacation and said she can pay off a few bills.
As for the kids.....and parents who tolerate that kind of behavior.....:gaah:

So far the donations are over $600,000............ thats some vacation. She will be laughing all the way to the bank for 10 minutes of torture.

The bullying was not right for sure. The students involved should receive appropriate punishment.

The outcome was pretty good. Once again--I respectfully agree with Arntufun. :2thumbs::2thumbs:

My Missus is on our School Board and she agrees with your 100 percent!
The kids are only sorry now because they got caught... :gaah:

I use to work at that school district and I'm surprised to finally see the took a stand against the students. If it was me--I'd suspend them for riding the bus for 1 year. Make the parents take them to school. After all, they raised these children, now make they drive them to school every day!

Nahh - they should hafta walk - uphill both ways. nojoke

Good the little ba$tards just unknowingly funded her retierment. That will piss em off more than the punishment....

Unfortunately the punishment does not penalise the kids....they'll still get to school, however displaced from their present one....parents and friends will take care of that.
For me.....:
Schools out, time for the kids to work to purchase a bicycle, not any motor assisted bike, but a plain bike. Have them ride to school for the year.
Have them take care of the lady's lawn and garden...they may find out, by getting to know her, just how much of a loser she isn't.
Just a'ramblin' 'ere.

Spare the Rod, Spoil the child.:dontknow:

Don't spare the rod and have a trooper over your house in minutes. I still remember the day from 17 years ago when my son was 13 and a neighbor called. The trooper said to handle it differently the next time.

As a Teacher for 10 years early in my career I think she Lacked the Control of the situation...
This is New York... :gaah: "Control of the situation" does not exist in this State due to the rights given to everybody by Albany...
And how would a 68 year old grandmother gain control of what was a mobile mob scene anyway?? Mace??? You can't touch them, yell at them, threaten them, cajole, scold or berate them. Handguns are out of the question and the driver ain't stopping because if he's 3 seconds late getting a kid home somebody's gonna drop a dime on him...
Operating under the rules layed down in this State, you'd have either been in the same boat, or looking for another job within about 36 hours...

 I'll try to think about monkeys on roller skates for a little while... :roflblack:

If she couldn,t handle the Kids she didn,t deserve the Lofty Title of "School Bus Monitor?" I wish I were her Bank account about now?
Wonder if she,s splitting the $700,000 with the kids parents so they can attend college?

There is no excuse for what they did, and it's my understanding this was an ongoing problem. There's also no way to put an actual price tag on the emotional damage done to her. If that was my kid doing that he'd get a can of whoop a$$-- AND have to go mow that woman's yard for a year and get to know her as a HUMAN with feelings.

This video really made me sick.

I'm going to piss someone off but, I knew it wouldnt take long for someone to come on here and blame gramma for not being qualified...:banghead:.

My mom was a bus aide many yrs ago, and even back then she wasnt allowed to say squat to any kid except "stop that".. She did that for 2 yrs untill some brat wouldnt stop his crap, and the school didnt/couldnt do a thing about it. She quit when the kid would laugh at the bus driver and her while saying " nice try, but I'm back"...BTW, the kids in jail now....
