Stock fox podium vs. 1.5 podium

I was thinking about getting the podium 1.5 shocks to replace stock fox podium that came with 2015 RS.
Is 1.5 actually better?
Although I’m putting them on a RS the question really is for F3 owners who made the change or other RS owners who already made the jump.

Thank you in advance and any low cost replacement for rear for RS?

My F3-S came with the "upgraded" Fox Podium shocks. But I swapped them out for the Podium R 1.5 units before I was even able to ryde the byke (injuries) after buying it. All it took was a 10 min spin on a demo at the dealer with the stock ones and I knew the upgrade was happening! :D The Podium R 1.5 units are adjustable for rebound/compression via a single knob so you can personalize the ryde to your tastes...

I can't speak to anything for the rear but I would think that if you are able to use the fronts the rear should work as well? Not that the Podium 2.0 RC2 is "low cost" in any way.... But there is this set (219400588) specifically for the RT 2014 & up that can be found on Ebay for a better price than from BRP....

The suspension is night and day different on mine with the high end Podium's on it front & rear. And I tend to ryde a bit harder than most.... ;)

THIS BEGS THE QUESTION

Why does BRP cheap out on shocks (and tires) on these expensive machines? My stock shocks are lousy, the Spyder wallows in curves and feels "darty". I just don't get it.

Hugely disappointing isn't it? It baffles me what mfg'ers cheap out on... What is beyond disappointing is that the "upgraded" front shocks that came on my F3-S (compared to the standard F3) aren't worth crap either in my opinion! :banghead:
