• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

any rt owner or other owner of bikes that get hot, what exhaust are you running on your bike. i have the Akrapovic exhaust from day one, i had the dealer install it b4 i picked the bike up. if i put the stock exhaust back on do you think it might help with my millage and heat issues. i am bored and just sitting here looking around at different things and i was wondering if it would be worth a try.

You know something; it couldn't hurt to give it a try...
If we assume that the "Akro" is a bit freer-flowing; it could have leaned your misture out to the point where the bike didn't like it so much. nojoke

i was thinking the akro exhaust was made for the bike and lamont told me that the bike would adjust for it, but if and when i get the bike back after a few days i might give it a try. but i am still curious what other people are running with bikes that get hot

Honestly, no way it will reduce your heat. The exhaust is outside of the tupperware at the back of the bike. The Akrapovic is less restrictive and the ECM will adjust to it. If anything will cool your bike down, I'd think about doing the cat removal instead. The cat sits underneath your gas tank, so I'd zero in on that first and get rid of it. Another thing to consider is purchasing the PCV. If you're running hot, it could be because you're running lean and the PCV will eliminate that. If you get the Auto Tune with with the PCV, then you don't need to worry about finding a map that is compatible with your setup.
