• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Squeaky Wheel

I have a new 2014 RT-S with 800 miles on it. Today when I took a short ride and pulled the Spyder into my garage I hear a sharp intermittent squeaking noise coming from the left front wheel. I was not on the brake at the time, so it shouldn't have been the brakes. Any ideas on what this noise may be? Could it be a wheel bearing or just the brake pad scrapping the rotor. Thanks for any help you can lend!

Relax..!!

things are still settling in and pads have a tendency to hang up a bit or an bit of brake dust will make them squeal..if you ryde her a bit and apply the brake afew times should clear up. Usually backing up and applying the brakes helps too. If it continues and becomes constant have it checked out...

Thanks! I'm taking it out first thing in the morning for another short ride to see if the sound goes away or changes. If it's gone, then wifey and I will take a nice long ride. Other then this noise, we are loving every mile on our new Spyder. I'm feeling more comfortable every mile.
