• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thursday night I was out for a spin and as I was pulling in to a parking lot and I lost all power. It was obvious that something electrical happened. I only have 350 mi on her so the next morning I called my dealer in Hoopston, IL, explaned the situation, and they said they would call me right back, as they had to check in with BRP as to how the roadside assistance program worked. They did call right back and said BRP was in a sales mtg and they would call me back in 45 min. They did and said BRP does not cover towing. My dealer drove down and got it anyway (70 mi. at his expense). When he got down to where the spyder was at, he and I did a "roadside diagnostic" checked relays, fuses etc. (also items that lamonster recomended -THANKS!) So we loaded it on his trailer and he took it back to his shop and told me him would dig right into it. Well he did and it took 15 min to find the problem. He first started with the pos bat cable at the battery, it was fine. Traced it down to the starter - BINGO. Loose nut on the starter. I'm kind of p.o.ed that I didn't dig into it myself, but I figured my dealer should know what the deal was first hand so he could send the problem up the pipeline if need be. In summary two big thumbs up to my dealer, Lithgow Automotive for their quick assistance, and thanks to Lamonster for the phone call assistance. Everyone was A+. Hope this helps somebody down the road if it ever happens to you. Finally in the 80s here today, Im going to giver a bath, put on my new throttlemeisters and hit the HIWAY. LETS RIDE!!!

must have been on the starter solenoid, the live side of the high tension wire, at the starter there is no current flow until you hit the start stop button and the solenoid engages. You have a great dealer, who gives great service. Ride On.
