Yesterday was the annual Legion of the Silver Rose ceremony at the American Legion post in Tombstone, Arizona. For those who don't know, the Legion of the Silver Rose recognizes American Service Personnel found to have been exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam. Each year, medalions are presented to the widows or family members of deceased service personel, as well as those who are still suffering from diseases caused by exposure to agent orange.
Prior to the ceremony, there is a procession of motorcycles through the town of Tombstone. I was happy to see that there were at least five (5) Spyders in the procession this year. Among them, I was pleased to meet Cindy (AppleSpyder) of SpyderLovers, along with her husband. Both of them were on their Spyders (ST and RT) and joined in the procession and ceremony. One of the Silver Rose recipients got to ride in the procession on the back of one of the Legion member's Spyder RT.
