• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm glad to hear that Spyderfest 2015 will be offering some technical/educational sessions. Are they still open to suggestions? I just bought my RTS last summer so I am still fairly new to the hobby. Personally, I'd have an interest in:

Bluetooth communication comparisons and installation
Ipod installation and usage, coordinating all the electronic add-ons
Easier DIY electronics - (such as dashboard changes)
DIY maintenance
Popular farkles, maybe a farkle fashion show!

Do we have other ideas or are the offerings already set?

I've been having similar thoughts. I realize it is early and the folks doing the work to organize this are doing it on their own time, so don't want to push.
However, maintenance topics such as oil changes, spark plugs etc would be of particular interest. Probably not difficult but being a visual learner, I like to see things and then they make sense to me.
I'm assuming a list of topics will be posted sooner or later.

I'm really interested in getting a Swaybar and alignment done while there. Just not sure how or when to go about securing an appointment.:dontknow:

Hopefully we will get most of the questions answered about seminars in the next few weeks. Also hopefully soon we will be able to start posting what vendors will be at SF 2015.
