SpyderFest or SpyderQuest

trying to decide which to go to, want to go to both, but have to pick one. any advice thoughts :banghead::banghead::banghead: :gaah::gaah::gaah:

You are closer to Spyderquest. Have you been to either? if so go to the other this time. I have never been to Spyderquest but I am sure it is a fun event, I have been to Spyderfest and I know it is a blast.

I booked my hotel for Spyderquest, but after hearing all the good stories of Spyderfest, I decided to use my remaining vacation days on Spyderfest. Maybe I will make it next year.

Spyderquest is all about the rides, and you can't beat the area for rides. It is also a smaller event, so you may get more out of it. I have never been to Spyderfest, but when an event gets too big I feel that I would just get lost in the action. JMO.

One of the ways they keep Spyderfest "Personal" is by having Guest Hosts at each Hotel, that way you can be part of the smaller crowd or the larger crowd or both. Works very well.

Absolutely. Mid Atlantic Spyder Web has the New Holland ride each May in Amish Country.

Spyderfest

I have been to both and I prefer Spyderfest. I usually get to see the Spyder friends at the same time and only once a year. The Spyder friends you make at these events are priceless. If some of my MoGang friends hadn't of gone to Spyderquest last year, the event wouldn't have been as much fun for me. And allot of vendors are at Spyderfest and it's a great time to do get those farkles that you have been wanting. Lots to see and do.

Newbie going to both this year

I decided to sign up for both this year and it will be my first time at each. I'll be going solo to spyderfest and with my wife to SpyderQuest. So far I'm having a blast in the planning stages and it looks like we should have quite a group of Yankees headed west in April. If you do decide to do spyderfest I'd register soon as hotels seem to be filling fast. We would also,love to add you to the list of people riding out together if you are interested.

There are planned rides throughout southwestern Missouri and northeastern Arkansas. There are also maps of other suggested rides should you want to go your own way.

There's also a poker run to businesses throughout the area. Get your book stamped then turn it in for the final night to get Spyder bucks for the auction.

Len's Secret Pie Run last year was fun and totally faked out everyone. Not sure how they're going to top it this year.

The host hotels are for the most part very close together, within walking distance should you imbibe a bit more than is prudent.

There was a bonfire/bbq at the fairgrounds but the lines were very long and they had trouble keeping up with the food. Spyder games were fun to watch although I didn't take part in them.

Im holding on to my hotel reservation in the event that I can make it. But most of my vacation time is being used at SF.

Big Social Parties, BBQs, Rides, parties at host hotels in the evening, Vendor Village. Lots to do.

Spyderquest gets rydes, fellowship parties and the chance to meet real great people. It is all bout the rydes which are led and followed and of course the opportunity to self explore in some of the best ryding terrain. A dinner cruise is really enjoyable
as well. Come on east and enjoy yourself
