• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'd like to see what kind of miles we drove this years for SpyderFest 2013. I will attempt to update this post with the totals as reported. Lets just include the mileage to/from and mileage while at SpyderFest. Those taking extended trips before or after SpyderFest should give us a mileage number that reflects SpyderFest. (and not rub in the fact that you're having a great summer and the rest of us have to go home)

The group that I rode down with covered 1343 miles coming... My trip back home should be right about 1210 miles:
So count me in for 2543 miles. :2thumbs:
 
Taking the long way back home

My miles to Spyder Fest were 748, I'm taking the long way back home which should bring my total to around 4200-4400 miles. :yes:
 
Our trip from Oregon/washington thru southern California came in at 2,643 miles. By the time we get to Pa and back to Oregon, we expect to have ridden 6,500+ miles.
 
Miles

I am wondering if truck miles count? Truck miles at the end of the trip will be around 2000 miles. If the rain stops, the Spyder might get 500 miles. More Spyder miles please.:yes:

We're lucky, Spyderfest is practically in our backyard. House to hotel was only 170 miles.

Wait; now that I think about it a bit more, is that lucky or unfortunate?
 
180 miles each way with a blue Spyder on my tail all the way... oh wait it was on the trailer. We did manage to drive a couple of hundred miles on the Spyder while at the SpyderFest.

908 total miles for the trip. Springfield is 300 miles from home, so that means 300 miles while at Spyderfest. I think much of that can be attributed to lodging at the KOA on the west side of town. For that and other reasons, I will be staying at one of the designated hotels next year.

We did 1550 miles from Montreal and did 2 stops at friends before reaching Springfield, MO :yikes:
 
If we're counting the miles driving around at the Fest, not just the mileage down and back, up mine another 188 mi to 528 total from Thurs-Sun.
