• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another great day at Spyderfest. The weather couldn't be better and the event was in full swing today. I rode in with Faran from the Spyder 5 and I wish I would have setup my camera for the ride into Cowtown. There were Spyders lined up on both of sides of the road waiting to take off on group rides. It was quite the site and if any of you guys have a good pic of that I wish you would post it here because that was a really cool site. :doorag:

The BRP demo truck was setup and booking rides and the vendors had folks lined up ready to install the latest Spyder farkel. John from Elka did a great seminar on Elka suspension in the morning and even I learned a few things. ;)

I pretty much hung out all day and did some wrenching but had some time to have some good fellowship with some of the good Spyder folks there. I talked with a few of the vendors and they all had either ran out or was running out of product. I think they were all glad they came and are already talking about next years event. The sad thing is we may have grown out of this place. I'm not sure how we could fit any more vendors or Spyders here if the event doubles in size again. :dontknow:

After leaving Cowtown I headed to the hotel and got cleaned up a bit for dinner at the Wildwood Springs Hotel. What a cool place that was and the food was great. I got to say the best part of that night was once again was getting to know the people. It's great when you can sit down and have dinner with folks you really don't even know and have such a good time. I spent more time getting to know folks there and really building new friendships with folks that I'm sure will last long after this event. :doorag:

Talked with the BRP reps and the Rotax reps and they were really glad they came. They were able to help a lot of folks that had issues and really got to know their customers a lot better. I think BRP was smart to send these guys out here so when they hear about problems they can get a real feel for the types of mods and riders they are dealing with. Lets face it, the reason the Spyder has been such a hit is because BRP does listen to their customers and they are trying to be proactive in meeting their customers needs. It's a very diverse group of owners they have and they are doing their best to meet as many of their needs as possible. I've been working fulltime in the motorcycle industry for the last 12 years and I've never seen a company interact with their customers like BRP has. They are a very unique company in the motorsports world.

Sorry I didn't get too many pictures today but I plan on grabbing the ones you guys post here and putting them all in one place so you will have easy access to them. Here's what I do have. :doorag:
