• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder wreck in Central Ohio Monday

My thoughts are with their family - I lost my sister in a car accident in 1994 (she was 25 at the time) and still miss her everyday!

Interesting final note in the article:
"Neither was wearing a helmet at the time of crash."

Not saying a helmet would have saved their lives, but one never knows.

I agree with others--let's stay off the helmet preaching on this thread. There was a big thread going the last couple of days that talks about that.

It would be interesting to find out more details as to cause of the accident--if they are able to determine such.

Does anyone know if the people were on SL?

I agree with the lay off the Helmet stuff on this one . If you want to preach go to the thread that is blowing up im sure . But anyway RIP to both of them . My prayers are with the family or families .
 
Spyder crash

OMG the handle bars were turned totally around and facing the back wheell!!!! Trunk lid aways away from the rest of it. They didn't have a chance of living thru that one even if they had on all the safety gear made!!! May they rest in peace. Prayers to the family and condolences. :pray:
 
It's sad, But the truth be told,
Sometimes people for no particular reason 'whether there in a car truck motorcycle or on a Spyder just drive off the road and crash!:dontknow:
 
This is so sad. A prayer goes forward for them, and the families. God Bless their souls.

We just sent off a wonderful young couple back to Ohio that came to visit us on their motorcycles. We went on some nice rides here in KY with them yesterday.They both ride, and the lady is the daughter of one of our best friends. They are both in law enforcement, and had mentioned they just heard about a 2 person fatality on a motorcycle as they were leaving to come to KY for the visit. They loved our Spyder, and took it out for a ride. When they see what type of bike this was tonight when they get home, they will be shocked.
One of the features I told them about was enhanced safety.
