On 7-29-09 I posted that our SM5 would not shift and the next day got it to the dealer. A day later we were told that :f_spider:had a bent shift rod! At the end of the shift rod is a two peace gizmo attached at 90*. That gizmo (sorry don't know the tech term) had a slight bend which prevented shifting to take place. Was without :f_spider: for 11 days waiting for parts and the repair. Everything covered under warranty.
On another note the :f_spider: would develope a miss between 45 and 57 mph in 5th gear. I ran a ground the coils and the miss has disappered. Go figure.
