• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I thought about putting it in the breakfast area to view while eating.

Cool!

Did not notice the Black spyder at first. Great shot! I once spent a night in a motel with rain forcaste overnight. Manager had me park under the cover at the front entrance.

Don (did rain that night - clear the next morning)

Same thing happened to me at a Hampton Inn in Woodbridge, VA . . . it looked like rain and they asked me if I'd like to park under the portico . . . I'd already had a full cover on it, so I passed, rather than spend the time taking it of and putting it on, again - I'd been riding all day in upper 80 temps with high humidity (Heat index was 105), and was exhausted . . . but I was very appreciative of the offer and told them so.

motels

25 or so years ago,the co I worked for, sent me to Lebanon Ohio for a week. The motel they booked for me was in a pretty rough end of town.I asked the desk clerk where I could park the bike.He said if you want a bike in the morning, you better park it in your room.was nice,no dew on the seat in the morning. This was one of those motels where you didn't venture out after dark.

Years ago I was on a business trip to Tallahassee Florida. I arrived at 2 in the morning and pulled into a place called Pocahontas inn i believe. I was super tired and didn't really notice anything at first. I should have known I was in a bad place when the guy at the window asked me how many hours I wanted it for. But I was tired and didn't catch what he said. So I went to the room and that is when I noticed that the bed was on concrete blocks and so was most of the cars outside. I also noticed that the bathroom was in the middle of the room with a curtian around it. I just carried the key back and dropped it into the box on the side of the office door. I wrote that off as a life learning lesson.

Remember this.. if the guy ask you how many hours you will need the room. Chances are , you are at the wrong hotel....

Glad to see that there are still biker friendly motels out there. That has always been a concern of mine when traveling and staying at the places where the parking lot is usually no where near the rooms.
